When planning your group holiday, you don’t need to leave your pets behind in kennels or catteries! Our pet friendly cottages (dogs and cats welcome) offer your pets the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley alongside you.
What makes our cottages Dog Friendly?
With the stunning natural locations of our holiday cottages, we can offer several dogs an enclosed outside space large enough for them to bound around. This means that you can safely leave your pet in the cottage when you aren’t able to take them with you, so you don’t need to worry while you are out and about. There are also plenty of walks that start as soon as you walk out of the front door. Our dog friendly cottages include Highcloud Farm which offers 30 acres of enclosed fields and a private path or River Wye Lodge which has a pleasant walk alongside the river bank straight from your front door.
Days out with your dog
There are many things to do with your canine friends in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley with a number of attractions allowing you to bring your dog with you. If you want a stunning walk why not try The Secret Forest or if you want to relax at a classic Victorian tea room, try Aunt Martha’s Restaurant. There are many trails allowing you to explore this natural area of outstanding beauty. You also won’t be far from Sugarloaf Mountain and the Three Castle’s Walk near Abergavenny. View the locations of all of our dog friendly cottages on our properties page.
