Cedars House is a lovely Georgian holiday home ideally located in the heart of the village of Whitchurch, in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, and sleeps 12 – 20 people.
What to expect from Cedars House
Full of character and charm, the property provides accommodation for large groups, seamlessly combining modern day essentials with original aspects, such as feature fireplaces, wooden floors and panelling, all with a vintage twist.
Each of the eight bedrooms have been individually styled including antique beds, Louis XVI style French furniture and modern bedding, which all add to the charm and home-from-home comfort. Four bedrooms have the added benefit of en-suite facilities with the family bathroom featuring a freestanding roll-top bath.
With it’s Georgian period history this large holiday cottage makes a great place to spend your time or come back to after a day of activities.
Things to do
Cedars house is just a five minute walk from the River Wye, with a lovely village shop just round the corner. The are also 3 pub/restaurants within walking distance with enclosed gardens and parking.
A short walk away is the Wye Valley Visitor centre with a range of activities such as a butterfly zoo, hedge puzzle, miniature golf and laser tag. If you prefer to be on the River Wye you can also hire canoes nearby.
