What to expect from Trellech House
In an acre of walled and gated garden with a cobbled courtyard, barbecue area, large lawns, games room, ample parking and plenty of space for kids and pets to play including a paddock and orchard. Because of its village setting it is not suitable for single sex groups or raucous parties
Inside, the house is full of character with an Aga kitchen, space for 22 to dine and sit together, but with quieter spaces too for when you want a little time to yourself. There’s Sky TV and DVD player in the tv lounge, while the Drawing Room provides an oasis for those who want to sit round a fire and chat or listen to music.
Trellech House can sleep 22 in 10 bedrooms one of which, a single, is housed on the ground floor and woud be suitable for a guest unable to use the stairs.
Things to do
Experience an active archaeological dig at the site of the Lost City of Trellech making this large holiday cottage an ideal place for a group to stay to partake in the annual dig during July and August. If you’re looking for a fishing holiday then check the fishing seasons for the waters in and around the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. The Lion Inn is a 2 minute walk from the house and is a great place to share a meal together.
