We stayed at Pencraig for a gathering of friends including children of various ages. Pencraig is set up perfectly with various bedrooms catering 2 - 5 people and lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The garden is a great size and the views are beautiful. The kitchen had everything you could need and it was all very homely.

he house is perfect for a big family/friends get together. It is very well equipped for every eventuality. Lots of space for fun and frivolity, the sound proof party room allowed us to let rip without fear of disturbing anyone.

The whole experience was brilliant, From booking to the stay itself.
Everything with the house was perfect for what we needed. The welcome box of chocolates and birthday ballon were a lovely touch. The garden was gorgeous and luscious. We loved the kitchen and that it was fully stocked with all the equipment etc. We made good use of the games rooms and appreciated how much there was to do in the house itself. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to gather a large group of friends. The surrounding area was stunning.

We had a great family weekend at Pencraig Court. We rented the house and cottage as we were a big party, celebrating 2 significant birthdays. The owners Gordon and Anastasia are delightful and really helpful and the house and grounds are wonderful, with fantastic views over the Wye valley

Puzzlewood is great for young children. We also enjoyed Clearwell Caves with our 9 and 11 year olds. Some of our party walked to Goodrich from the house and enjoyed that.
Ross has a lovely riverside area for picnics.
Symonds Yat is great for walking/climbing/canoeing
We really appreciated the owner coming over to introduce our 2 and 5 year old to the chickens and other animals

We spent most of the weekend at the accommodation. The huge garden provided plenty of entertainment. We rented a bouncy castle from a local company and used the provided BBQ facilities.
The accommodation was perfect for a large group. Plenty of space and bedrooms for us all. The owners were so friendly to deal with. They gave us a tour of the property when we arrived and promptly answered questioned when contacted during our stay. The property was clean and had everything available that we needed. We are considering booking again for next year!

The house was so lovely that my husband and I stayed put for the whole weekend but other family members ventured out to the nearby castle, Ross and Symond's Yat.

Pencraig Court Ross
Pencraig Court will hold such a special place in my heart.
We had our wedding here at the beginning of September and it was just magical.
The house is so gorgeous, all our guests were blown away with it, as were we. There's ample of space and well equipped. The grounds are breath taking with the lovely view of the River Wye.
Anastasia & Gordon were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely be booking again to stay with everyone, we can't wait to come back.Date of experience: 01 September 2023

Excellent house for large party
BHHL communicated excellently throughout. As did the owners of Pencraig-court, the property that we rented for a stag party over 3 nights. There were 25 attendees and everyone commented about how nice the house was. It had everything that we needed and the setting was amazing. There's a café a 1 minute walk from the house that does a decent breakfast so was ideal.
