Very warm and comfortable with plenty of space for all our varying aged family to relax.well stocked kitchen and large dining room with a comfortable lounge area. A very lovely weekend would love to revisit in the summer

Lovely local walks, Tintern Abbey

The house was literally perfect. Warm, welcoming, cosy, very well equipped. Beds amazingly comfortable living areas and bars were fantastic. As a party of 50 people we were all blown away by the house. The housekeepers were so helpful and the stay was literally perfect. Could not praise it highly enough

This was our second time returning to stay with you, and once again it was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, everything was so thoughtfully organised, and it truly made our time in Symonds Yat special.

With that well equipped kitchen on site you don’t need to eat out!

A beautiful and peaceful retreat set in a stunning location with breathtaking views, with lovely walking routes right on the doorstep.

The lodge is thoughtfully designed and feels luxurious and welcoming.
It also includes a very well-equipped kitchen, making cooking easy and enjoyable.
We were a group of over 20, all refreshed and relaxed and are already planning a return!

Graham was super helpful and welcoming. The game room and table tennis were fantastic additions – they made our indoor time enjoyable and kept the children happily entertained throughout.
A piano in lobby would be a great addition!

Yes, we would recommend the pub next door, The saracens head for a drink and their roast dinner. They catered for over 30 of us.

The walks up and down the river are wonderful. Do note that it is out and back as there isn’t a natural place to cross back if you go over the bridge.

We had an excellent time, The Royal Lodge was perfect for our friends Christmas get together. Graham was a brilliant host. The rooms were great and having the bar open to use was an extra special touch. We will absolutely be rebooking next year.
