Symonds Yat Rock Circular Walk
Route Length: 3.2 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Starting at the Symonds Yat Rock car park, this circular walk offers stunning views of the Wye Valley, taking you and your pooch through a mix of woodland and riverside paths. Highlights include the famous Symonds Yat Rock viewpoint, which overlooks the River Wye, and the chance to spot peregrine falcons nesting in the area.

Cannop Ponds and Nagshead RSPB Reserve Walk
Route Length: 4.6 miles
Difficulty: Easy
This easy walk begins at the Cannop Ponds car park in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The route takes you around the ponds, a popular spot for waterfowl and other wildlife, before leading you to the Nagshead RSPB Reserve. Here, you'll find well-maintained paths and bird hides, making it a great place for spotting a variety of bird species, including pied flycatchers and redstarts.

Tintern Abbey and Offa's Dyke Path
Route Length: 5.5 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Starting from Tintern Abbey, this walk takes you along a section of the Offa's Dyke Path, an ancient earthwork that runs along the border between England and Wales. This route offers a blend of history, spectacular views, and varied terrain. The first part of the walk takes you uphill through the Devil's Pulpit, a rocky outcrop with panoramic views of the Wye Valley. The route then descends through woodland paths before returning to the Abbey.

Mallards Pike and Soudley Ponds Walk

Located within the Forest of Dean, this gentle circular walk starts at the Mallards Pike Lake car park. The trail leads you around Mallards Pike Lake, a popular spot for picnics and water sports, before heading to the picturesque Soudley Ponds. Along the way, you'll pass through beautiful woodland, providing plenty of opportunities for your furry friend to explore.
